Experience and tradition from our quarry to your home.
From its extraction in the quarry to its use in a piece of work marble at Continental stone goes through a number of stages that can take from one to three months. The process begins with its extraction, selection and transport to our facilities.
Once in the plant, the process continues with a further quality control that determines which blocks are destined for the production of slabs using the gang saw and which blocks will be used to make flagstones in different formats using the block cutter. This is just the beginning of the production stage and is followed by the apropriate finish or superficial work to give the stone the most suitable finish to meet the needs of the client: polished, flamed, honed, aged etc. After another quality check to ensure the correct measurements and finish, the product is packed in crates, wrapped and prepared for delivery to the client.
Once the client’s real needs have been established, we proceed to confirm the order, the quantity of each variety of material, deadlines, mode of transport and receipt time of the product, from the time the material is loaded up to the time it reaches its destination. At all times the client receives detailed information about the production status. Once the client receives their order, Continentalstone then offers an after-sales service in order to supervise and evaluate client satisfaction with both the service and the material.
